Is Arnie Finally Back?

We are all aware of who Arnold Schwarzenegger is and we've all had five or six..teen too many beers and laughed ridiculously over our terribly bad Austrian accents whilst spouting out our favourite quotes from 'The Running Man' or 'Total Recall' at 3 a.m on a Wednesday

Avengers: Age of Ultron Review

Avengers: Age of Ultron Review

If you know me and anything about me you will know that I am Marvel crazy, not so much a comic book geek but definitely an MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) geek no doubt. I remember the first time I saw Iron Man and it was on a pirate copy (which I probably still have somewhere) and I remember thinking to myself "This may be one of thee best superhero movies I've ever saw in my life... I hope they make more!" and little did I know that we were just on the verge of something spectacular, miraculous, glorious and unstoppable!

A Christmas Special: Rise of the Guardians Review

Rise of the Guardians Review

Tis' the season to kick some fucking ass! As it is now well and truly the festive season I figure it only fitting that I review a Christmas movie and to be honest it was never my intention to do such a thing but I stumbled upon a movie that was on Sky movies called 'Rise of the Guardians' and thought I'd give it a watch and it turns out that Christmas is not only truly in full swing it's also being hosted by a bad ass, sword yielding Russian Santa Claus but that's not where our story starts. Let us take a look at DreamWorks Rise of the Guardians.

Man of Steel Review!

Man of Steel review: What an absolute Kent! So as you may know I went to see Man of Steel and as a person who has been nothing but let down by previous Superman installments I was rather excited to get to see this latest adaptation hoping to spark some kind of flame for the Man of Steel. We all know the story of Superman and where he came from, he's an alien sent to earth from the planet Krypton by his parents before the planet is completely destroyed, the father played by the ever boring Russell Crowe (and boy does he deliver in the boring department) speech after speech Crowe bores the audience to shreds as he delivers more exposition than I thought humanly possible, infact most of this movie is just exposition. Flashbacks to when Clark Kent was a boy growing up, stories of Krypton's end, stories of what happened with the bad guys after being banished, it just always goes away from the plot to go "Oh yeah we forgot to mention this part" So cut to exposition 467 Clark growing up with his adopted earth parents, one of which is played by Kevin Costner.... YEAH! KEVIN FUCKING COSTNER!! I mean when was the last time he did anything you wanted to watch?..... Don't worry, I'll wait!

The Purge Review

My Review of The Purge: I don't really get the advantage of catching movies at the cinema these days but one advantage I do have is the pleasure of Sky Box Office (obligatory plug for my employers there) so I booked The Purge as it was a movie I was looking forward to seeing since it's cinema release...... That has it's downfalls though as I tend to read and watch a lot of reviews and as we all know, reviews can really sway your opinion on a movie despite not even seeing it but I am my own man though and I always say every movie deserves a chance so here it is, my review of The Purge.... That may ironically sway your opinion of the movie.
